Johnny Mnemonic needs to rethink this one

Around 28:40 (no, this video is not that scene, it’s just for the eyes) Johnny complains about the uploaded data being too much. He’s asks: ‘what did you upload, the Library of Congress?’. But earlier they said the data is about 320Gb.

Footnote for beginners and those who slept through the Introduction to computer science: the printed collection of the Library of Congress expressed in data is around 235 terabytes today. Okay, be fair and let’s not hide the fact, that if you go back to 1995(when the movie was made) to check the data amount you’ll find that the Library hard drives held “just” one-half of one terabyte – which is far from 235 terabyte. For staying a bit on the educational line: the Library’s data amount is getting bigger with time (now it’s estimated growth rate is: 5 terabytes/month).

Just sayin’. Also: trolling is a art.

The Boat that Rocked – Pirate Radio

I always had a thing for the brits… és ebben a filmben ott van majdnem mindenki (csak Simon Pegg nem): Philip Seymour Hoffman, Bill Nighy (Love Actually, Underworld), Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, Spaced), Kenneth Branagh, Katherine Parkinson (The IT Crowd), Cris O’Dowd (The IT Crowd), January Jones (Mad Men).

Egy hajó a tengeren, 8 DJ és kalózadnak, a zenéket ismerjük, a színészeket ismerjük, a ruhák rettenetesek, a film ötcsillagos. Csekidáut:
